He was born on the 10th of January 1951 in the United States. Not much information has been given regarding his educational background.
When Aaliyah was five years old, he relocated with the whole family to Detroit, and he started working in a warehouse.
Years later, he joined the music recording industry and worked as a producer and manager.
Aside from that, he was also Aaliyah’s manager in her music career. In 2012, Michael fell sick and passed away on the 8th of November in 2012 at 61 years.
He got buried next to his daughter at Ferncliff Cemetery.
