Cory Anthony Booker is an American politician, author, and attorney born on the 27th of April in 1969. The 52-year-old was born in Washington DC, United States of America.

Cory is a member of the Democratic political party in the USA. Cory was a member of the Newark Municipal Council from the Central Ward (1998-2002), after which he became the 38th Mayor of Newark (2006-2013).

He was the first person to serve as New Jersey’s senator in 2013. He was also a presidential nominee for the 2020 United States presidential elections.

He has led new laws on same-sex marriage, women’s rights, single-payer healthcare, and affirmative action.

He is also an author of an autobiography, United: Thoughts on Finding Common Ground and Advancing the Common Good.

Regarding his private life, he has never been married but is currently in a relationship with Rosario Dawson since 2019.

Carolyn and Cary Booker first met in Washington DC, where they were both employed at IBM as the first black executives.

The two started dating and eventually got married around 1964, which lasted for about 49 years before the demise of Cary. They were both blessed with two sons.

Carolyn Rose Booker was born in the 1930s. Although, her specific date of birth and place is not known.

She is among the first black executives working at IBM. She met her husband, Cary, in Washington DC, where their relationship ignited, and they decided to get married.

The couple then moved to New Jersey in 1969 to raise their family there.

The family was religious, and they attended the African Methodist Episcopal Church, New Jersey, every Sunday.

Following the birth of Cory in 1969, Carolyn got employed in White Plains, New York.

They faced a lot of racism, especially when looking for houses since they were of black ethnicity.

She was also very active in the Civil Rights Movement. Carolyn, however, lost her husband in 2013 due to an illness.

 

She is now left with her two sons, whom she cares for and loves a lot.

Cary Alfred Booker was born on the 10th of December in 1936 in Henderson, North Carolina, brought up by a single mother.

He was also an American executive who used to work at the IBM in Washington DC. Here is where he met his future wife, Carolyn, and they decided to get married and start a family.

They relocated to New Jersey in 1969 and faced a lot of racism based on their color when they moved to Harrington Park.

Cary started developing Parkinson’s disease, which led to his demise in October 2013 in Las Vegas due to a stroke.

He left his wife behind with two sons. A realtor once sent a dog to chase him away when they were house-hunting.
