Joe Gatto’s Parents’ Love Story
Joe Jr.’s mother and father were happily married. They were married for 28 years until Joe’s father passed away in 1995.
Yet, Gerri and Joe Sr. have three beautiful children together.

Joe Sr. was a Native New Yorker born in 1939. The star is named after his father, Joseph Anthony Gatto Sr., But sadly, his father passed away when Joe was only a teenager.
So, Joe’s father fell into alcohol abuse for many years while still living. So, this drinking slowly deteriorated his body, and he had pancreatic cancer.
Hence, Joe Sr. passed away in 1995 due to cancer at 56 years old.
In 2020, Joe Jr. opened up about the loss. He wrote on Twitter that he slept with a Winnie the Pooh stuffed bear until 17 years old.
Then when his father passed away, Joe started sleeping with the bear again for comfort. He was only 19 when his father passed away.

Joe Jr. has a lot of love for his mother and is proud of her. His mother Gerri has also passed. She was 67 years old when she passed away.
