He was born on the 9th of August 1957 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Angelina and Joseph Anthony Germanotta. Looking at his education, Joe attended the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University.
Regarding his occupation, he founded his own Wi-Fi company, Guest Wi-Fi, for hotel chains.
He is part of the board of directors under the Born This Way Foundation and co-owns a restaurant with his wife.
Interestingly, Joe named his family restaurant after his deceased sister, Joanne, who was diagnosed with lupus.
