Sadly, Snoh’s father’s name is not known to the public. Yet, we know that Snoh’s father was born on August 16 in Iran. He is Iranian with Persian ancestry. She says that her father is dark-skinned with afro hair.
On August 16, 2019, Snoh released her album on her father’s birthday, who died ten years prior.
Snoh’s father passed away in 2009. He passed on June 19. Snoh spoke about how hard the 19th is for her every year because they were not together a lot while growing up.
Snoh says that she and her dad were not close enough growing up. Furthermore, Snoh’s father struggled with cancer, which eventually took his life. She wrote a song about the feeling of missing her dad and titled it “Time.” She says that the song is about how she was not given enough time with her dad.
Moreover, she says it was a very emotional time when she wrote the song. Also, she still gets emotional when she has to perform it live because it reminds her of her father.
Snoh Aalegra’s Mother Nahid
Snoh Aalegra was born to her mother Nahid on September 13, 1987, in Sweden. Her mother raised Snoh in Enköping, Sweden.
Despite growing up in Sweden, Snoh is 100% Iranian. She says that her mother is Persian, an ethnic group in Iran. Snoh mentions that her mother is light-skinned, and her eye color is green/brown.
Furthermore, Snoh says that her mother immigrated to Sweden before she was born. Though she may not have Swedish blood, she calls Sweden her home since she grew up there with her mother.
Additionally, she calls herself a “second-generation immigrant.”
Moreover, Snoh mentions that her mother is a poet. She says her mother writes great poetry in Farsi. Farsi is the Persian language, which she and her mother are.

Snoh’s mother Nahid and father separated when she was very young. Snoh lived with her mother Nahid in Enköping, Sweden, following the separation. They later moved to Stockholm.
Snoh did not see her father often growing up. Yet, she wishes that she did since he passed away of cancer.
